Everyone will have a stompin’ good time at this year’s Bluegrass Festival, July 27, 2013. There will be sunshine, great music, delicious food, and vendors selling their products and art work. Tiger Lily’s Attic and I will be there featuring my line of clothes, “Raggedy Ends, ” which features one-of-a-kind, up-cycled, revamped clothes. And in keeping true to the name, many edges and hemlines have been deliberately left unfinished.
To get into the spirit of bluegrass and country, I am showcasing many clothing items incorporating jeans (skirts, shorts, and pants). The photo illustrates one of the new bib aprons using either the front or back panel of jean pants giving the apron built-in pockets. The jean shorts are embellished with the hot new trend of crochet fabric and trim. The denim skirts are given a feminine flair with the addition of ruffles at the hemlines. I will also have tops that have been reconstructed and revamped with the addition of ruffles, flounces, and crochet and vintage lace trim.
And if sitting in the sun, listening to country folk songs, and eating pie doesn’t get your cowboy boots tappin’, I’m also going to have pretty fascinators, floral crowns, and headpieces to wear in your hair so come and get your girl on and check out Raggedy Ends at this year’s Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival !
